With a bit more probing, the story also involves the agricultural poor, who kept a dream of farming but existed in a special, marginal layer within rural.
In17 yrs. after the murders and right before his first parole hearing, he confessed to being the shooter in the case during a nationally televised documentary. He also stated that he did not murder his father and that his father's death was, in fact, a suicide.4/5.
